Fun story:

I recvd one of these recall letters for my Accord.

The earliest they could fit me in was 3 weeks away on a Monday. I said ok no problem, all I have to do is not crash. i’ve been not crashing every day for a good few years so that can’t be too hard.

Skip to the Saturday night less than 48 hours before the appointment, I get into a wreck and total my car. The airbag went off and luckily, I had no shrapnel in my neck.

PPHHEEWWWWWW!!!!!! The amount of (also luckily, mental) code brown was unshakable.

Thank you! It was my first major accident.

I’m glad I had good insurance coverage and a bit of luck on my side. Otherwise things could have gone real side ways. After this happened, a local Oppo helped me find an IS300 too, so it all turned out good.
